Rosemary Noonan designs and makes by hand one of a kind, beautiful, quirky and unusual necklaces, earrings and other jewelry items from pearls, gems and precious stones she sources from Burma and many other places as she travels.
While studying gold and silversmithing in London in the 1970’s, Rosemary went on to build and manage many small businesses. She reawakened her jewelry creative quest: "While travelling in Burma about 15 years ago, I bought many necklaces & strings of pearls at markets, and from wholesalers. On returning home to Australia, I found quite a few of my friends got a kick out of what I was making so I begun producing and restringing jewellery. The joy of creating from scratch has given me a lot of satisfaction in seeing my necklaces, earrings and bracelets worn by many people from all over the world."
That was the inspiration for her now signature pieces which combine gem stones with pearls.
"The pearls often reflect the colour of the gems & bring light to the stones. I also enjoy combining various stones and colours which take on another mood" says Rosemary.
"I really enjoy making old things new again & combining pieces from different eras. It's a great feeling when you’ve made something quite different in colour shape & design from a rather dated piece. I get such a delight when I hear from people who have bought my pieces saying they feel special when they wear my designs.”

About me
Owner and designer, Rosemary Noonan, designs beautiful original necklaces, earrings and bracelets by hand, using pearls and gems sourced from Burma and other places during her travels. She buys many new and old pieces and redesigns them. Their jewellery is made from mainly freshwater pearls & semi precious stones. Stones include keshi pearls, agate, onyx, pink quartz, peridot, amethyst, turquoise howlite, marine bamboo, lapis lazuli, moonstone, laboradite and amazonite. In addition to designing pieces, Rosemary repairs, restrings, resizes and redesigns pieces. If clients have a photo or design of a lost piece that they would like to replicate, please contact us.
